• How can I be sure my emails won't end up in spam folders?

  We work hard to ensure your emails get to where they need to go and look good when people open them. Our servers are white-listed by many leading ISPs including AOL, Yahoo and MSN which means they are recognised coming from a safe source. We also follow best practice by including a "one-click" unsubscribe link.

• I've never created an email campaign or newsletter before – how easy is it?

  Our system is very user-friendly and has an online help service which takes you through anything you need to know step-by-step. We also provide you with one-to-one training and we're on the end of the phone to give you a hand if you get stuck.

• I need to keep some of my subscribers separate from others – can I do that?

  Yes, our system allows you to create as many different subscriber lists as you like, so it's easy to send emails to some people and not others. You can also import and export subscribers in bulk or add and delete them individually, helping you to keep your lists up-to-date.

• Can I send test versions before sending it to my subscribers?

  Absolutely. Our editor tool allows you to preview the email as you build it, move content around easily and send as many test versions to yourself or colleagues as you like. When you’re happy with it, you can send it straightaway or schedule it for a later date to be sent out automatically – perfect if you’re going to be away from the office.

• How do I make sure my emails reach their destination?

  Our system tracks bounce backs, showing you which emails failed on delivery and why, so you can check email addresses and take immediate action.

• How do you add a subscription button?

  We will add a piece of code to your current website to allow people to sign up easily to your emails. Sometimes the technical specifications of your website mean that we won’t be able to provide this service. But, if that is the case, we will advise you of this before you sign up to electric pigeon.

• How long should the whole process take before I'm ready to send out my first e-campaign?

  The average time from setting up your account to sending out the first email or newsletter is two weeks from start to finish. Sometimes it can be quicker or take a little longer but we’ll give you regular updates, so you know exactly what’s happening.

• How secure is my data?

  All sensitive data is stored on servers behind a constantly maintained firewall to give you total peace of mind.
